Description.

The purpose of the course is to study the possibilities and acquire skills of working with ORACLE DBMS.The discipline includes the following topics: overview of the ORACLE DBMS architecture, administration of tablespaces and users, ORACLE data structures, limitations of integrity, views and sequences, creation of indexes, productivity and optimization. Students get acquainted with PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers and cursors. They gain practical skills in working with DB triggers and exception Handling.

Метою курсу є вивчення можливостей та отримання навичок роботи з СУБД ORACLE. Дисципліна включає наступні теми: огляд архітектури СУБД ORACLE, адміністрування табличних просторів та користувачів, структури даних ORACLE, обмеження цілісності, представлення та послідовності, створення індексів, продуктивність та оптимізація. Студенти знайомляться з процедурами PL/SQL, функціями, тригерами та курсорами. Вони отримують практичні навички роботи з тригерами БД та обробкою виключень.
