Data science is an interdisciplinary subject that uses mathematical statistics and scientific computing, scientific methods and numerical algorithms to extract and extrapolate mathematically substantiated knowledge from initially structured or unstructured noisy datasets. The course on fundamentals of data science is very important especially for the specialties Computer science and Information Technologies.

Наука про дані – це міждисциплінарна дисципліна, яка використовує математичну статистику і наукові обчислення, наукові методи і чисельні алгоритми для вилучення та екстраполяції математично обґрунтованих знань із початково структурованих або неструктурованих масивів можливо неповних даних. Курс з основ науки про дані є дуже важливим, особливо для спеціальностей Комп’ютерні науки та Інформаційні технології.
