The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in object-oriented software analysis and design; familiarization with the principles of using the Unified Modeling Language (UML); acquisition of knowledge and skills in developing static and dynamic models of software systems using UML diagrams, application of GRASP design patterns in the software development process.
