The purpose of the discipline is to train specialists capable to design algorithms for solving challenging geometric optimization problems motivated by applications using mathematical and computer competencies.
Content module 1. Design of algorithms for modeling relations between geometric objects.
Topic 1. Introduction, content, purpose and structure of the course.
Topic 2. Algorithms for constructing geometric objects composed by basic objects.
Topic 3. Algorithms for deriving phi-functions for basic and composed geometric objects.
Content module 2. Development of mathematical models and solution algorithms for geometric optimization problems motivated by applications.
Topic 4. Mathematical programming models for geometric optimization problems.
