Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (Technische Hochschule Wildau, 'TH Wildau' for short) is the largest of five universities of applied sciences in the federal state of Brandenburg, Germany. It is located on a historic industrial and manufacturing site in direct neighbourhood to the German capital Berlin.
TH Wildau was founded as a technical university of applied sciences in 1991, but its connection to engineering education dates back further to the late 1940s. Where once locomotives were built in vast production halls, today people study, teach and research in a perfect synthesis of historic walls and very modern architecture.
